While selecting Optional Subjects for Law Students one subject might be chosen out of Group F of CSS Optional Subject Groups which is comprised of following subjects:

Course Outline of Group VI

Candidates can Select one subject of 100 marks from this group. They have to opt other subjects from rest of the groups.

Out of Group F which is consisted of Law subjects, these subjects are considered as most scoring ones:

  • International Law
  • criminology
  • Muslim Law and Jurisprudence

While the subjects of Law and philosophy come under the head of low scoring subjects. Rest is up to the determination, hard work and aptitude of the aspirants.

Some Important Tips for Law Students:

If you opt International Law or constitutional Law then it is recommended to select:

  • International Relations OR political Science from Group A
  • Public Administration From Group C
  • Journalism & Mass Communication OR Sociology from Group G
  • History Subjects from Group D also make a good combination with the above mentioned Law subjects. Moreover, subjects of history are highly scoring.

If aspirants choose Muslim Law & Jurisprudence, Constitutional law or International Law then they should go for:

  • Any subjects out of Group D which is base on History Subjects
  • Journalism & Mass Communication OR Sociology from Group G

Any subject of Law can be combined with suitable supporting subjects to make 600 marks.
